Throughout the school year students will be updating their notebooks with maps pertaining to the empires and nations being studied. The maps will reflect more than the labeled locations, but will also be key to understading interactions between and among cultures. Mapping activities will require that students have colored pencils at their disposal. Each unit of instruction will require atleast one completed map.
You can utilize Google maps, but be careful as it may interpret your information incorrectly or give you a modern location (which may not match the time period of your map).
