Parody Product Project
You will be assigned a person or an event from the time period of 600-1750. You will research as much as you possibly can about this person or event and then demonstrate your research by creating a fake product centered on your topic. The product should be some form of cereal or snack food that is cleverly named after your topic (Example: “Mansa Musa’s Golden Flakes”, tagline: “Get a spoonful of Islamic generosity with every bite!” ; “Fruity Saladin Snacks”, tagline: “A fruity blast of peace that lifts you up when smelly European Crusaders get you down!”). You can create your parody product by
taking a real cereal or snack food box and recovering it with the required components (NOTE: tiny boxes will
not be accepted –if in doubt ASK MS. HINZMAN!!)
